Kelly has fallen into the humdrum of everyday life. Her fulfilment is found in the washing, the cleaning, the ironing and running herself into the ground with her job. She’s not sure when it happened, but the fun, spontaneity and excitement in her life was lost somewhere along the way.
So when she's asked out on a date by a gorgeous man who demands her attention, Kelly’s not so sure she’s up for it. It’s been a while, to say the least. It would be easy to refuse, stay at home, finish that pile of ironing, and then answer some work emails. The thought of being so organised alone brings a smile to her face. But with the encouragement of her best friend, she bites the bullet and goes all out. Bye-bye ironing, hello gorgeous man. She doesn’t know where this Kelly has been, but she quite likes her, and she doesn’t plan on misplacing her again.

Short, Sharp and Sassy with the added feel-good factor of supporting a good cause!

Firstly i want to stress two points, Number 1, this is a very short story at 5K words and number 2....I don't care about point 1! Jodi has a way of suckering you into a story from the first line to the very last that refuses to be restricted by something as fractious or mundane as a ''word count''.
This is a rather enlightening tale about a woman who has lost her ''joie de vivre'' for life, she no longer craves the adrenaline from a first kiss, or the heart stopping moment before you first make eye contact with a man you desire, instead, she found her fulfillment in more mundane tasks, she'd lost the will to chase excitement! But have no fear...all of that is about to change!
I absolutely adored the premise for this book and with a surprising twist at the end, it was a fun filled fast read where you get the bonus of helping out a very worthy cause!

Let me just pause for a moment and fill you in on what this cause is about...The Eve Appeal is a female cancer charity that was formed in 2002, they raise money to fund research into all forms of gynaecological cancer.
Major breakthroughs are already being achieved towards improving survival rates of women with gynaecological cancers through the Department's pioneering research into screening, early diagnosis and risk prediction. To build on these successes and save women's lives, raising urgent and on-going funds is critical! Jodi has kindly donated EVERY single penny raised from the sale of 'Forgotten Desires' to this amazing charity!

Its a cute little story and I mean "a little bit of a story" .

It's a donation for a great cause I had to remind myself after I finished the small story, just try to keep that in mind and remember that this is what this very ,very short story is truly for as I did as well because you blink and it is over.Love giving to causes that help so I'm not upset at all but this is seriously the shortest read ever for me.It's a intriguing little read ,it reminded me very much of a"Modern Family" Valentine's Day eposide with Claire and Phil minus the humor of course. It's just a� surprising sweet little�read, there's no sex scenes, there is just a lead up and a endearing ending but again it is seriously only a chapter long at best.The author wrote a quick little story with a twist that made me smile , and that is exactly what this read is in a nutshell ,and since 100 percent of the profits are going to a wonderful cause your money for this little read is well spent.
